Home Turf Media has finally arrived in the land down under as we welcome David Jackmanson and Brisbane is Home to our network.

David is an avid digital photographer which is fantastic in a city like Brisbane. You can see one of his extensive photo essays in the Photoblogging Australia Day at Brisbane’s Southbank post.

David was also quick to educate me on the pronunciation of his city…which is completely counter intuitive without an auzzie accent, but we’ll have to take his word for it: it’s BRIZ-bun or BRIZ-bn and not Bris-BAYNE.

He’ll be covering the local music scene, visual arts and everything in between [including an Australian blogging conference] so I hope you’ll drop by and help us welcome David to Home Turf Media.
