My name is Chloe Morris and I absolutely hate left-overs. Because of this, I have been adept at cooking, take-outs, ordering in, or eating out (not necessarily in that order). I go to three four different specialty food stores in any given food shopping day. I know exactly where to go for any ingredient known to man. I call it an inborn food radar. I’m the foodie behind Chow Down Atlanta.

I was born into a family of foodies. Ten years ago, I started taking pictures of food as a way of showing (read: making my cousins jealous of) what was eaten at a particular place or event. Actually, it was nothing but a juvenile prank but the bug caught on and soon it became a family tradition — we’d circulate pictures by mail and send menus via fax. These days, digital cameras, email and the internet have replaced film and stamps. It’s all great.

I’ve lived in Atlanta almost all my life. I attended and have degrees from both Georgia State University and Southern Polytechnic State University. In my next life, I want to be a chef by education and a foodtv/travel channel celebrity by profession.
